World Space Week 2026 is running from October 4 to 10 under the theme "Rocket Revolution," focused on how falling launch costs could open space access to more countries and organisations. Google noted the event with a dedicated Doodle, while Adafruit took part in activities linked to the week.

The European Space Agency teamed up with Pokemon GO to offer a special Astronaut Pikachu to players during the week. Katara also got involved with the event. World Space Week is the world's biggest yearly space celebration, marked in more than 90 countries.
