Two WNBA playoff semifinals move forward Friday, Oct. 9, with both series reaching Game 3. The New York Liberty welcome Atlanta to their home floor, though Atlanta takes the floor shorthanded as guard Allisha Gray is ruled out with an injury. The Liberty hold the series advantage and play at home.

In the other semifinal, the Golden State Valkyries meet the Aces in Game 3. Golden State picked up a road win in Game 2 and now sits one win from a Finals berth. The Valkyries used their full roster to beat the Aces in Game 2, setting up a high-stakes Game 3 on Friday.
