Su-57D: Russia Says It Will Fly Combat AI - MiGFlug

Latest News About Russia details combat AI upgrade for two-seat Su-57 jet

Russia states that its two-seat Su-57 jet will fly with advanced combat AI. Russia labeled this new twin-seat version the Su-57D. Engineers developed the plane to compete with Western fifth-generation fighters. Nonetheless, the Russian fleet of Su-57 jets is still limited.

At the same time, a small European country currently maintains twice as many fifth-generation fighters as Russia. The difference in fleet size persists despite Russian plans to add combat AI capabilities to the Su-57D. Simple Flying and MiGFlug reported on the limited inventory in addition to the planned artificial intelligence features.
