SpaceX launched a Starlink mission in the early hours of Aug. 25. The rocket soared into space. It was the 37th time for that Falcon booster, establishing another rocket reuse record. The flight represented the 100th Falcon 9 launch of 2026. Morning skywatchers expected to spot a jellyfish effect overhead. Spaceflight Now and Space broadcasted live coverage of the flight.
SpaceX also intended to announce its Louisiana plans on Aug. 25. Elsewhere, NASA mounted its next star space telescope aboard a Falcon Heavy rocket. That launch is set for Aug. 30.
