London police discovered a tiny marmoset inside a laundry bag on a bus last week. Staff noticed the vulnerable animal on July 18. The animal was nervous and had no water while quivering. It survived the traumatic ordeal. Animal advocates labeled it an criminal abandonment case. Meanwhile, researchers discovered a newly described monkey species in Congo’s Lomami National Park. The discovery emerged during a standard survey in the Congo Basin.
