Michael Taaffe made his first NFL start. He left with his first career interception. The Miami Dolphins rookie safety intercepted Kirk Cousins to open the half. Taaffe started at safety with Zayne Anderson. Dante Trader Jr. was left out of the starting group. The interception arrived on the opening possession after halftime. It gave Miami the ball on the opening possession of the half. Kirk Cousins later wound up with his third touchdown pass. That put them up 24-13 on the scoreboard. Taaffe's takeaway represented the rookie's maiden NFL interception of his career.
