In Piddington village, residents organised a referendum and chose to leave the UK over an asylum centre. Lisa Nandy responded to the vote. She stated the government will listen to the residents and consider their concerns.
The government announced additional 42 Young Futures Hubs across England. These hubs assist young people with life's challenges and offer guidance. Four hubs will be in Greater Manchester, following a pilot locally. New hubs are planned for Lancashire, Blackpool, and the North East as part of the rollout.
