Laika Studios' stop-motion film 'Wildwood' was met with positive feedback, but the studio had a tough weekend at the box office. The movie, directed by Travis Knight, was made over 16 years, was called a exceptional creation. Even with good feedback, Laika struggled to convert criticism into sales. The film succeeded in animation, but its commercial performance was not great.
