Chase Elliott hit the wall on Sunday at the Brickyard 400. He came home in 26th place. The vehicle hit hard but Elliott said the damage was minor. Afterwards, Alex Bowman said he will retire after 2027. Bowman’s exit creates a seat that may be offered to Conner Zilisch in 2028. Elliott solely spoke about Bowman following his own crash, while steering clear of driver reshuffle topics.
