Toronto police have arrested two members of the Canadian Armed Forces on charges related to organised crime and kidnapping, the Department of National Defence confirmed. The arrests were made in Toronto and both soldiers were taken off active duty shortly after.
The DND said it is fully cooperating with the active investigation. No further details about the charges or the soldiers' identities have been disclosed.
