Caleb Douglas played his first NFL game on Sunday. He and Chris Bell began the game at receiver for the Miami Dolphins in the opener against the Las Vegas Raiders. Douglas had a rough start. Later, Malik Willis got the ball to him for a 25-yard gain. The Dolphins kept their most veteran receiver out of the opener. That left the receiving duties to a young group. The team fielded a young group at receiver. That group drew attention as possible waiver-wire adds in advance of the opener. The young group was in the spotlight. Analysts also said the trio could make history in a rookie receiving class. Douglas's only reception was recorded for 25 yards.
